RESULT OF POLL OF PROPOSED LOAN.
BOROUGH OF BLENHEIM.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 29th day of January,
1913, a proposal was submitted by the Blenheim Borough
Council to the ratepayers of the said borough for raising a
special loan of £1,250 to defray the portion of the Council's
share of the cost of the bridge at the west end of High Street,
Blenheim, and that the number of votes recorded respectively
for and against the proposal was as follows: For, 301;
against, 76; informal, 25.
And I declare the said proposal to be carried.

NOTICE.
INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR STREET EXTENSION PURPOSES
IN THE CITY OF DUNEDIN.
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908;
and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of
Dunedin proposes, under the provisions of the Muni-
cipal Corporations Act, 1908, to take, under the provisions of
the Public Works Act, 1908, the lands mentioned and de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of the extension
of Short Street, in the City of Dunedin; and notice is hereby
further given that a plan showing the lands required to be
taken, together with the names of the owners and occupiers
of such lands so far as they can be ascertained, is deposited
in the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, situate in the
Octagon in the said city, and is open for public inspection,
without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and
that all persons affected by the taking of the said lands shall,
if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of
such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice,
to the said City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at the
offices of such Council situate in the Octagon aforesaid.

I, THOMAS FORSYTH, the Liquidator of the MALCOLM
FURNISHING COMPANY (LIMITED), a duly incorporated
private company in voluntary liquidation, in pursuance of
section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, hereby call a general
meeting of the said MALCOLM FURNISHING COMPANY (LI-
MITED), in voluntary liquidation, to be held at the offices of
Messieurs Morison and McLean, Solicitors, Wellington, on
Tuesday, the 13th day of May, 1913, at half past 2 o'clock
in the afternoon, for the purpose of presenting to such meet-
ing an account showing the manner in which such winding-
up has been conducted and the assets of the company dis-
posed of, and of presenting my final report.
