payers to borrow £8,000 for the purpose of metalling portions
of Ball and other roads in the Otoia Riding, and the New
Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Board has finally granted
the application for such loan at the rate of 3½ per centum per
annum: And whereas the New Zealand State-guaranteed
Advances Office Superintendent is unable to advance a part
of such loan at the said rate of interest, but can advance the
same at the rate of 3¾ per centum per annum:
Now, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in
it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and
section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910,
the Patea County Council hereby resolves: That, for the
purpose of providing moneys sufficient to cover the increased
payments in respect of the part of such loan still unadvanced,
the said Patea County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of
all rateable property of the Ball Road Special-rating District
as defined in special resolution striking the rate, and pub-
lished in Gazette of 4th May, 1911, page 1469; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the part of such loan unadvanced, and be payable
half-yearly every six months after the advances are received
in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or
until such loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct
copy of a special resolution of the Patea County Council
passed at a special meeting duly called for the purpose on
Tuesday, the 11th day of March, 1913.

THE following resolutions, made by the Kaitieke County
Council, are published in accordance with the pro-
visions of the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances
Amendment Act, 1912.

KAITIEKE COUNTY COUNCIL.
Resolution.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendments, the Kaitieke County Council hereby resolves
as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest
and other charges on a loan of £700, authorized to be raised
by the Kaitieke County Council, under the above-mentioned
Act, for bridging, culverting, and widening a portion of the
Te Maire Road into a 14 ft. dray-road, the said Kaitieke
County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
13/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of
all the rateable property in the Te Maire Special-rating Area;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring special
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the
1st day of October in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
made and passed at a meeting of the Kaitieke County Council
held on Saturday, the 5th day of April, 1913.

¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable
property in the Pukeatua Special-rating Area; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring special rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of
October in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the
loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
made and passed at a meeting of the Kaitieke County Council
held on Saturday, the 5th day of April, 1913.

rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the
1st day of October in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly

currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and
a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Redefining Boundaries of Borough of Onehunga and of
One-tree Hill Road District and of Eden County.

Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 8th April, 1913.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 20 of the Muni-
cipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the bound-
aries of the Borough of Onehunga are hereby defined as set
out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said
borough having been altered by an Order in Council, dated
the 25th day of February, 1913, made under the Municipal
Corporations Act, 1908, and published in Gazette No. 16, of
the 27th day of February, 1913.
And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said sec-
tion 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910,
the boundaries of the One-tree Hill Road District and of the
County of Eden, affected by the alteration made by the said
Order in Council dated the 25th day of February, 1913, are
hereby defined as set out respectively in the Second and
Third Schedules thereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards
the north-east by the south-western side of Mount Smart
Road from the north-eastern corner of Allotment No. 3,
Section No. 13, Suburbs of Auckland, to a point in line with
