Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mangatoitoi Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of April, 1913.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain :

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the Mangatoitoi Domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE WEBER COUNTY COUNCIL

to be the Mangatoitoi Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act ; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the tenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at half past ten o’clock a.m., as the time when, and the Weber County Council Office, Ti-tree Point, as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

MANGATOITOI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 46 acres and 3 perches, more or less, being Lot 5 of Section No. 5, Block VIII, Weber Survey District, Weber County. Bounded towards the north generally by a road-line, 1574·1 links ; towards the east by rabbit-proof fence reserve, 2958·4 links ; towards the south generally by rabbit-proof fence reserve, 2693 links ; and towards the west and north generally by Lots 3, 2, and 4, 623·550, 675, 784·7, and 667·5 links, respectively : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1139, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting a Reserve in the South Invercargill Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of April, 1913.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a site for a town hall :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of South Invercargill :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of South Invercargill, in trust, as a site for a town hall.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section 33, Block I, Town of Seaward Bush. Bounded towards the north by Section 33A of said Block I, 372·2 links ; towards the east by Section 32 of said Block, 268·5 links ; towards the south by McQuarry Street, 372·2 links ; and towards the west by Elles Road, 268·5 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8202/17, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserve in Wellington Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of April, 1913.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act ; and such reserve shall hereafter form part of Langdale Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Langdale Domain Board.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 16·8 perches, more or less, being a closed road situated in the Town of Langdale, Block III, Rewa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Suburban Section No. 15, Town of Langdale, and proceeding thence, on a bearing of 131° 31′ for a distance of 100 links, to the northernmost corner of Suburban Section No. 11 ; thence towards the south-east by the north-western boundary-line of Suburban Sections 11 and 12, 1228·7 links, to the westernmost corner of the last-named section ; thence towards the north-east by the south-western boundary-line of Suburban Section No. 12, for a distance of 733·4 links ; again towards the south-east by Suburban Section No. 17, bearing 209°, for a distance of 101·86 links, to the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 3, Block III, Rewa Survey District ; thence towards the south-west by the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 3 aforesaid, for a distance of 866·5 links, to the southernmost corner of Suburban Section No. 16 ; and thence towards the north-west by the south-eastern boundary-lines of Suburban Sections Nos. 16 and 15, for a distance of 1381·2 links, to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned section, the place of commencement : be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less : as the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1126/47, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Authorizing the Ngaruawahia Town Board to erect Electric Lines within the Ngaruawahia Town District.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of April, 1913.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that no person shall lay, construct, put up, place, or use any electric line except under the authority of a license issued to him by the Governor in Council under that Act :

And whereas the Ngaruawahia Town Board (hereinafter referred to as “the Board”) desires to erect electric lines for lighting and power purposes, and it is expedient accordingly to issue a license in respect thereof under the said section :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the said section, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth, subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto, hereby authorize and license the Board to erect, construct, lay down, and maintain electric lines for lighting and power purposes within the Ngaruawahia Town District, such electric lines being indicated by red lines on the plan marked P.W.D.
