Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Proclaiming Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and seventy-four of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided, inter alia, that all Native land purchased by the Crown under the authority of this Act shall, on becoming vested in severality in the Crown, become Crown land subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and shall be proclaimed as such by the Governor, and shall thereafter be administered and dealt with accordingly:
And whereas the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been purchased and has become vested in severality in the Crown:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and seventy-four of the said Act, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Ngaruroro Survey District, in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay, containing together 862 acres, more or less, and being the land known as Timahanga No. 4 Block.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Additional Land at Waimarino taken for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land at Waimarino, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
