this twenty-first day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and thirteen.

Opening Lands in Southland Land District for Sale or
Renewable Lease.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur
William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the
lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for
selection on renewable lease on Tuesday, the twenty-fifth
day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at the
rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare
that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to section
one hundred and thirty-five of the said Act, as they contain,
or are supposed to contain, metal, mineral, or valuable
stone.

SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT. — WALLACE COUNTY. — LONGWOOD
SURVEY DISTRICT. — OTAGO MINING DISTRICT.
Second-class Land.

Altitude, from 200 ft. to 1,000 ft. above sea-level. Covered
with mixed bush, chiefly kamahi, from which all valuable
milling-timber has been cut. The country consists generally
of easy leading spurs and broken gullies, suitable for
pastoral and dairying purposes. Soil fairly good loam and
clay, on granite and shale formation. Situated from three
miles and a half to five miles and a half by road from
Orepuki Township and Railway-station—about two miles
formed and partly gravelled, remainder unformed. Sections
11, 13, 15, and 16, Block XII, are mostly broken
country, bush running into rata at higher altitudes.

Opening National Endowment Lands in Auckland Land
District for Selection.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur
William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the
national endowment lands described in the Schedule hereto
shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Tuesday, the
twenty-fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and
thirteen, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule;
and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased
under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Opening Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale or
Selection.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur
William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of
the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one
hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that
the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for
sale or selection on Tuesday, the twenty-fifth day of March,
one thousand nine hundred and thirteen; and also that
the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option
of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for
occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease;
and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands
shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said
Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be
sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions
of the Land Act, 1908.
