Opening Settlement Lands in Canterbury Land District for Selection.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Saturday, the fifteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Acts.

Land temporarily reserved as a Site for a Public School in Block XIII, Pomahaka Survey District, Otago Land District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned: And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the Governor may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of land acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments: Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a site for a public school.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section 24 (formerly part of Section 6), Block XIII, Pomahaka Survey District (Pomahaka Downs Estate). Bounded towards the north-west by other part of said Section 6 of said block, 300-3 links; towards the north-east by other part of said Section 6, 837-2 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 373-8 links and 604-2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/683, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 38 perches, more or less, being reserve numbered 3909 (in red), situated in Block II, Waitaki Survey District (Waikakahi Settlement). Commencing at the southernmost corner of Lot No. 2, Waikakahi Settlement, and being bounded thence north-westerly along a line bearing 326° 47', a distance of 4220-7 links; thence south-westerly along a line bearing 268° 15', a distance of 419 links; thence north-westerly along a line bearing 358° 15', a distance of 25 links; thence south-westerly along a line bearing 268° 15', a distance of 586-3 links; thence north-easterly along a line bearing 15° 11' 20", a distance of 170-5 links; thence north-westerly along a line bearing 323° 38' 9",
