Loan Department, shall be confirmed by a Board or the Court without the precedent consent of the Governor in Council:

And whereas application has been made for the consent of the Governor in Council to a mortgage of the blocks or parcels of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto: And whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor in Council should issue:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the confirmation of an alienation by way of mortgage of the blocks or parcels of land set out in the Schedule hereto. And it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the proceedings hereby authorized.

Consenting to closing Road in Block XI, Westerfield Survey District, Upper Ashburton Road District.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of February, 1913.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by subsection (a) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:

And whereas the Upper Ashburton Road Board has applied for such consent in respect to the road described in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Upper Ashburton Road Board closing the road mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block XII, Wairere Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of February, 1913.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
