Land taken for the Purposes of a Post-office in Block XII,
Hororata Survey District.
[L.S.] LIVERPOOL, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for post-office
purposes in Block XII, Hororata Survey District :
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in
terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such
land for the public work hereinafter set forth :
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister
has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation
taking the land as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agree-
ment hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for post-office purposes; and I also hereby
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and
thirteen.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of
February, in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and thirteen.

Gravel-pit in Blocks XI, Totoro, and IV and XV, Orahiri
Survey Districts, Waitomo County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, and the Counties Act, 1908, for certain public
works, to wit, for the purposes of a stores-site, quarry, and
gravel-pit in Blocks XI, Totoro, and IV and XV, Orahiri
Survey Districts :
And whereas the Waitomo County Council has laid
before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by maps,
and also a statutory declaration, as required by the Public
Works Act, 1908 :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority
in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purposes of the said stores-site,
quarry, and gravel-pit as from the date hereinafter specified,
and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabit-
ants of the County of Waitomo; and I do also hereby
direct that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the thirteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred
and thirteen.

Stopping a Government Road in Block V, Harataunga Survey
District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred
and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it
is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly
notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road
or any part thereof :
And whereas the Government road described in the
Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purposes of a
road :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the above- in - part - recited Act.
and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road in Hara-
taunga Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
