Borough of Invercargill, is published in accordance
with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

BOROUGH OF INVERCARGILL.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers
of the Borough of Invercargill was taken on the 13th day of
December, 1912, on the proposal of the Council of the Borough
of Invercargill to borrow the sums of £13,700, £5,000, £32,000,
and £25,000 in substitution for the unissued portions of certain
loans previously authorized, and for the purposes and upon
the terms and conditions set out in the proposal published
in the Southland Daily Times on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and
29th days of November, 1912.

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 67.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 14.

I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.
