Vesting Reserves in the Corporation of the Borough of Runanga.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of November, 1912.
Present :
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart as an endowment or for the use of the Corporation of the Borough of Runanga: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the said Corporation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Corporation of the Borough of Runanga, in trust, as an endowment, or for the use of the said Corporation.

Waitaki County Council declared a Leasing Authority under the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

WHEREAS the Waitaki County Council is a body of persons having power to lease land held in trust, reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested the Governor in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such request, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by the above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Waitaki County Council is a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

Authorizing the Exchange of Settlement Land in the Canterbury Land District for other Land.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by section seventy-two of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time exchange any settlement land for any other land, and may on such exchange pay or receive any sum by way of equality of exchange:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the settlement land described in Part I of the Schedule hereto for the land described in Part II of the said Schedule, and the owner of the land described in the second part of the said Schedule has agreed to such exchange:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said section seventy-two, do hereby authorize the exchange of the settlement land described in Part I of the Schedule hereto for the land described in Part II of the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
PART I.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 19 acres and 25 perches, more or less, being Lot No. 12 of Waimate Settlement, situated in Block XIV, Waimate Survey District, and bounded north-eastward by the old bank of the Waimate Creek; south-eastward by a road-line, 1382·2 links; south-westward by Lot 11 of Waimate Settlement, 1405·4 links; and north-westward by the Waihao Forks Railway line, 1076·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19432/51A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
PART II.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 2549, situated in the Borough of Waimate, being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 244, folio 32, Canterbury Land Registration District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19432/51B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land temporarily reserved as a Site for a Public School in Block XIV, Norsewood Survey District, Hawke’s Bay Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as a site for a public school.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Section 58, Block XIV, Norsewood Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 56 of said block, 500 links; towards the south-east by Sections 59 and 60 of said block, 865·5 links; towards the south by a road, 515·5 links; and towards the north-west by Section 57, 991·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/1093, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
