Branding Registration Districts of Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay abolished, and New Branding Registration Districts of Gisborne, Waiapu, Hawke’s Bay, and Wairoa constituted.—Notice No. 1667.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS it is expedient that the Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay Branding Registration Districts as at present constituted should be abolished, and that new branding registration districts as described in the Schedule hereto should be constituted in lieu thereof:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Stock Act, 1908, do hereby abolish the Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay Branding Registration Districts as at present constituted, and do hereby constitute in lieu thereof the branding registration districts as set forth in the Schedule hereto, and declare that the said districts shall hereafter be comprised as described in the said Schedule; and do also hereby appoint the persons set opposite thereto in the said Schedule to be the Registrars of the said districts accordingly.

SCHEDULE.

Gisborne Branding Registration District. WILLIAM BRUCE HINGSTON Gisborne.
All that area comprising the Counties of Waikohu and Cook as at present constituted, and including all boroughs and town districts in or adjacent to that area.
Waiapu Branding Registration District. WILLIAM BRUCE HINGSTON Gisborne.
All that area comprising the County of Waiapu as at present constituted, and including all boroughs and town districts in or adjacent to that area.
Hawke’s Bay Branding Registration District. DAVID ARNOLD GRAHAM Hastings.
All that area comprising the County of Hawke’s Bay as at present constituted, and including all boroughs and town districts in or adjacent to that area.
Wairoa Branding Registration District. DAVID ARNOLD GRAHAM Hastings.
All that area comprising the County of Wairoa as at present constituted, and including all boroughs and town districts in or adjacent to that area.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Revesting in His Majesty the King for the Purpose of Government Store Yards Land reclaimed from the Sea by the Wellington Harbour Board.

A NOTIFICATION.

WHEREAS it is provided by the Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act, 1903, as amended by the Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act 1903 Amendment Act, 1906, that the Governor may, by notice or notices in the Gazette, declare that the land described in the Second and Third Schedules to the Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act 1903 Amendment Act, 1906, shall revest in His Majesty:

And whereas the Wellington Harbour Board has, by virtue of the powers conferred upon it by the said Acts, reclaimed from the sea the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being the land also described in the Second and Third Schedules of the Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act 1903 Amendment Act, 1906, and it is considered expedient that the said land should be revested in His Majesty:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act, 1903, and the Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act 1903 Amendment Act, 1906, do hereby declare that the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto shall, from and after the date hereof, revest in His Majesty.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement an area of 3 acres 1 rood 15 perches, commencing at a point distant 215·73 links, on a bearing of 193° 12′ 10″, from a Government standard survey block in the roadway of Waterloo Quay, the said block being distant 12885·53 links north and 3148·35 links east from the trig. station at Mount Cook; thence 50 links, on a bearing of 127° 8′ 30″; thence 922·95 links, on a bearing of 168° 57′; thence 430 links, on a bearing of 258° 57′; thence 421·14 links, on a bearing of 348° 57′; thence 168·60 links, on a bearing of 2° 39′ 56″; thence 168·60 links, on a bearing of 22° 44′ 9″; thence 352·76 links, on a bearing of 37° 8′ 30″, to the commencing-point: be the said area, distances, and bearings a little more or less.

Also all that parcel of land situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement an area of 2 acres 2 roods 12 perches, commencing at a point distant 219·41 links, on a bearing of 46° 21′ 7″, from the commencing-point of the area first described herein; thence 148·43 links, on a bearing of 23° 27′ 20″; thence 263·55 links, on a bearing of 37° 8′ 30″; thence 928·96 links, on a bearing of 168° 57′; thence 331·64 links, on a bearing of 217° 8′ 30″; thence 50 links, on a bearing of 307° 8′ 30″; thence 814·76 links, on a bearing of 348° 57′, to the commencing-point: be the said area, distances, and bearings a little more or less.

All in the Wellington Land District; as the said parcels of land are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 31240, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon bordered red, and being those pieces of land described in the Second and Third Schedules respectively of the Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act 1903 Amendment Act, 1906, and delineated on the plan marked M.D. 2988, deposited in the office of the Marine Department, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this tenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
