Award of the Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long-service Medal.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve
of the award of a Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long-
service Medal to

No. 36/1728, Colour-Sergeant JOHN DUNCAN ROBERT-
son, 2nd (South Canterbury) Regiment,

he having a total service to the 22nd July, 1912, entitling
him thereto of twenty years one hundred and forty-eight
days.

Retention of the Title of “Honourable.”

My Lord,—With reference to your Lordship’s despatch
No. 107, of the 11th of July last, I have the honour to
request that you will inform your Prime Minister that His
Majesty the King has been pleased to approve of the reten-
tion of the title of “Honourable” by Mr. Thomas Mackenzie,
who has served for more than three years as a Member of
the Executive Council of the Dominion of New Zealand.

A notification to this effect will be published in the
London Gazette.

By-laws Act, 1910.

Council on the 10th July, 1912.

REMUERA ROAD BOARD.

THE Remuera Road Board hereby resolves that the num-
ber of its members be increased from five to nine, and
that this resolution is intended to operate as a special order
and to take effect from the date of gazetting.

I hereby certify that the above special order has been
duly passed in accordance with the Road Boards Act, 1908.

Special Order made by the New Plymouth Borough
Council altering Boundaries and Representation of St.
Aubyn-Moturoa Ward.

THE following special order, made by the New Plymouth
Borough Council, is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act,
1910.

NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Resolution passed on the 9th day of September, 1912, and
confirmed as a Special Order on the 14th Day of October,
1912.

THAT all that area in the Taranaki Land District situate in
Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District (hereinafter styled
“the Hurworth Area”), and now forming part of the Borough
of New Plymouth, as more particularly described in the
Schedule to the Order in Council bearing date the 27th day
March, 1912 (New Zealand Gazette, page 1193), and de-
lineated in plan marked 59A, deposited in the Head Office,
Lands and Survey Department, Wellington, he added to and
merged in the St. Aubyn - Moturoa Ward, particulars of
which ward are set forth in the Schedule to the Order in
Council bearing date the 26th day of August, 1912 (New
Zealand Gazette, page 2599). That the number of Coun-
cillors to represent the St. Aubyn - Moturoa Ward so in-
creased by the addition and merger of the Hurworth Area be
one.

I, George William Browne, Mayor of the Borough of
New Plymouth, do hereby certify that the above special
order bearing date the 14th day of October, 1912, has been
duly passed.
