CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested, I, Roderick McKenzie, acting in the place of the Minister of Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul the appointment of the undermentioned warehouse for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, namely,—

as appointed and described in Minister’s Order No. 648, of the 24th day of September, 1900.

CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by the Customs Law Act, 1908, I, Roderick McKenzie, acting in the place of the Minister of Customs, do hereby approve and appoint the undermentioned warehouse to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond, namely,—
Port of Dunedin.
A building of galvanized iron, situated on Section 19, Block VI, Stafford Street, to be known as
POWLEY AND KEAST’S BOND.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II, Unclaimed Lands).
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have, for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands), made due inquiries with respect to the land described in the Schedule hereunder, and the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said land, given the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act, and have in all respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent hereto: And whereas I have not thereby ascertained who the owner is, and believe that such owner is not in the Dominion, nor has such owner established his title to the said land, as required by the said Act: I hereby give notice that the said land is, under and by virtue of the said Act, vested in the Public Trustee as aforesaid, as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908; the value of the land for the purposes of section 67 (d) of the said Act being less than £100.

IT is hereby notified for general information that the Surveyors’ Board, in conjunction with the Australian Surveyors’ Board, will conduct an examination of candidates for licenses to survey, commencing at 10 a.m. on Monday, 18th March, 1912, at the Dominion Museum, Wellington.
Candidates are notified that their applications, on the proper form, must reach the Secretary of the Board at least thirty days before the date of the examination, and that the examination fee of £1 1s. must be paid, at least seven days before the date of the examination, to the Secretary of the Board, from whom examination regulations, application forms, and other particulars may be obtained.
