Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by subsection two of section fifty of the Native Land Act, 1909, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Chief Judge granting the applicant leave to appeal as aforesaid. And it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the proceedings hereby authorized.

Vesting Land in a Maori Land Board under the Provisions of Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of January, 1912.

Present:

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and fifty-two of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that, on the confirmation of any such resolution as is referred to in paragraph (a) or paragraph (b) of section three hundred and forty-six of that Act, the Governor may, if he thinks fit, by Order in Council vest the land affected by the resolution in the Maori Land Board of the district in which the land is situated; and the land shall thereupon become subject to Part XIV of that Act, and all the provisions of that Part shall apply thereto accordingly in the same manner as if all of that land had been set aside for leasing in the case of a resolution within the said paragraph (a), or for sale in the case of a resolution within the said paragraph (b):

And whereas by a resolution within the said paragraph (b) of the said section three hundred and forty-six, passed by the assembled owners and duly confirmed by the Aotea District Maori Land Board, it was resolved that the land set out in the Schedule hereto be vested in the Aotea District Maori Land Board under Part XIV of the said Act: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be so vested:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers in this behalf vested in him by the aforesaid section three hundred and fifty-two, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby vest the land specified in the Schedule hereto in the Aotea District Maori Land Board for sale under the provisions of Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Ngamatea Survey District, in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing 2,971 acres and 28 perches, more or less, being known as Ohotu 4b No. 3, and bounded as follows: On the north and north-west by the Okura Stream; on the east and south-east by Ohotu 6a No. 1, 6B, 6E, and 6D; and on the south-west by the Mangawhero River, Ohotu 4b No. 2, 4b No. 1, and 4a.

Altering the Boundaries of the Taranaki and Wellington Deeds Registration District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of January, 1912.

WHEREAS by section four of the Deeds Registration Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to time alter the boundaries of any deeds registration district:

And whereas it is expedient to alter the boundaries of the Taranaki and Wellington Deeds Registration Districts:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the hereinbefore-in-part-recited Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that from and after the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the boundaries of the said Deeds Registration Districts of Taranaki and Wellington shall be as are described and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI DEEDS REGISTRATION DISTRICT.

BOUNDED towards the north and north-east generally by the Auckland Deeds Registration District as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1, of the 7th January, 1904, from the sea at the mouth of the Mokau River to the Waimeha Stream; thence towards the east generally by the said Auckland Land District to the confluence of the Wanganui River and the Ongaruhe River; thence by the Wanganui River to where the Pakakau Stream joins that river; thence towards the south-east by a right line to the nearest point of Pipiriki Road; thence by Pipiriki Road to its junction with Makakaho Road; thence by Makakaho Road to the north-eastern boundary of the Maungaporau Block; thence by that block to Subdivision No. 9 of Mangapapa Block; thence by the south-eastern boundary of the said Subdivision No. 9 to the north-western boundary of Momahaki Survey District; thence by Momahaki, Omahine, and Wairoa Survey Districts to the sea at the mouth of the Patea River; and thence towards the south-west and north-west generally by the sea to the mouth of the Mokau River, the place of commencement.

WELLINGTON DEEDS REGISTRATION DISTRICT.

Bounded towards the north-east generally by the Auckland Deeds Registration District as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1, of the 7th January, 1904, from the confluence of the Wanganui River and the Ongaruhe River to the western boundary of the Hawke’s Bay Land Registration District as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 30, of the 28th April, 1898; thence towards the east and north generally by the said Hawke’s Bay Land Registration District to the sea; thence towards the south-east, south-west, and west generally by the sea to the mouth of the Patea River; and thence by the Taranaki Land Registration District, hereinbefore described, to the place of commencement.

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the hereinbefore-in-part-recited Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that from and after the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the boundaries of the said Land Registration Districts of Taranaki and Wellington shall be as are described and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
