Officers authorized to convene General or District Courts-martial.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of the Defence Amendment Act, 1910, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the undermentioned officers to convene general or district courts-martial for the trial under this Act of such persons subject to military law as are for the time being under or within the Territorial limits of their respective commands:—
Lieutenant-Colonel (temporary Colonel) ARTHUR BAUCHOP, C.M.G., New Zealand Staff Corps, Officer Commanding the Otago Military District;
Lieutenant-Colonel (temporary Colonel) ROBERT LOGAN, A.D.C., New Zealand Staff Corps, Officer Commanding the Auckland Military District.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Disallowing By-laws made by Auckland Harbour Board.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS it is enacted by the fiftieth section of the Harbours Act, 1908, that, within six months after the receipt of a copy of any by-law made by a Harbour Board has been acknowledged by the Minister, the Governor may disallow the same or any part thereof:
And whereas certain by-laws amending standing orders made by the Auckland Harbour Board were adopted by the Board at a special meeting held on the fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and the receipt thereof was acknowledged by the Minister on the fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve:
And whereas it is desirable to disallow a part of such by-laws:
Now, therefore, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, doth hereby disallow the following part of the said by-laws—that is to say, the following, viz.:—
“12. (a.) Questions relating to the Board’s business shall be asked only upon notice given not later than three days before any ordinary meeting of the Board; and the Chairman shall, as soon as practicable, give written replies to such questions, and such replies shall be accepted as dealing with such questions.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Postmaster appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.
PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that
ARTHUR TWIDELL MEAD,
being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Waiotemarama is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
As witness my hand this fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
