Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kirwee Domain.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of October, 1912.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and two, certain powers were delegated to the Kirwee Domain Board for a period of ten years:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JOHN NICHOLAS LAWREY,
GEORGE BEDFORD,
JOHN TURNER, *
ROBERT JOHNSON, and
FRANK ELWORTHY JARMAN

to be the Kirwee Domain Board having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Kirwee Hotel as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

KIRWEE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 2416 (in red), situate in Blocks VIII and XII, Hawkins Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Reserve 2358, 885 links; towards the east by Rural Section 28280, 1162 links; towards the south by Rural Section 16807, 856 links; and towards the west by Reserve 1752, 1139·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: and as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1390/4A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mamaku Domain.

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twelve:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JOHN SMITH MCKENZIE,
ALBERT HEMMINGS,
ALFRED YOUNG,
CHARLES THOMAS CLINKARD,
THOMAS MEIKLE FORD,
HENRY JAMES JOSEPH BOULTON

to be the Mamaku Domain Board having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Wesleyan Church Vestry, Mamaku, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

MAMAKU DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Block XII, Mamaku Village. Bounded towards the north-east by Waiteti Street, 500 links; towards the south-east by Patetere Street, 1000 links; towards the south-west by Lot 1, Block XII, Mamaku Village, 500 links; and towards the north-west by Paeroa Street, 1000 links.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Block XIII, Mamaku Village. Bounded towards the north-east by Waiteti Street, 500 links; towards the south-east by Okohiriki Street, 1000 links; towards the south-west by Lot 1, Block XIII, Mamaku Village, 500 links; and towards the north-west by Patetere Street, 1000 links.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres and 12 perches, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Block XIV, Mamaku Village. Bounded towards the north-east by Lot 6 of Block XIV, Mamaku Village, 500 links; towards the south-east by Umurua Street, 1015 links; towards the south-west by Arahiwi Street, 500 links; and towards the north-west by Okohiriki Street, 1015 links.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 1 rood 8 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, Block XV, Mamaku Village. Bounded towards the north-east by Waiteti Street, 583 links; towards the south-east by Mamaku Street, 510 and 815 links; towards the south-west by Arahiwi Street, 900 links; and towards the north-west by Umurua Street, 1215 links.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 1213, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 11240/1, blue.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Census and Statistics Act, 1910 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct that the account described in section twenty-eight of the said Act shall be taken on the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
