A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native
Land Act, 1909, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby lay out and take as a road the land described
in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

Stopping a Government Road in Block XI, Waitara Survey
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred
and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is
enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly
notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or
any part thereof:

And whereas the Government road described in the
Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purposes of
a road:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited
Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road in
Waitara Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

All in the Taranaki Land District; as the said road is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured
as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Provincial District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day
of October, 1912.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three
(a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted
that a local authority shall not declare any county road
or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be
deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the
Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:

And whereas the Hokianga County Council has applied
for such consent in respect to the road described in the
Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-
in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the Hokianga County Council closing
the road described in the Schedule hereto.
