COUNTY OF BRUCE.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Bruce County Council, at its meeting held on Tuesday, 6th August, 1912, resolved that the provisions of Part II and Part III of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, be brought into operation in the County of Bruce on and from 9th September, 1912, and the fees payable for the registration of motors shall be 10s. for a motor having not less than four wheels, and 5s. for a motor having less than four wheels.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the above Act, that the office of DR. JAEGER’S SANITARY WOOLLEN SYSTEM COMPANY (LIMITED), where legal process of any kind may be served upon it and notices of any kind may be addressed or delivered, is situate at the offices of ALBERT A. CORRIGAN AND CO., Brunner Buildings, Cuba Street, in the City of Wellington.

GREY COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908; and in the matter of the proposal of the Grey County Council to take certain lands within the County of Grey for the purposes of building a bridge across Nelson Creek, on the Greymouth—Reefton Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Grey County Council proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work, to wit, the building of a bridge across Nelson Creek, on the main Greymouth—Reefton Road. And notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the lands required to be taken, together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands, so far as can be ascertained, is deposited in the public office of the said County Council, situated in Gresson Street, Greymouth, and is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the said County Council, addressed to the County Chairman, at the offices of such County Council, situate in Gresson Street, Greymouth.

Schedule.

Firstly, all that piece or parcel of land, containing 0 acres 0 roods 34·8 perches, being all that part of Section 34, Block VII, Mawheranui Survey District, commencing at the most northerly corner of said Section 34; running thence at a bearing of 115° 07′ for a distance of 436·1 links; thence at a bearing of 283° 35′ for a distance of 497·7 links; thence at a bearing of 52° 24′ for a distance of 112·2 links to the point of commencement: which said parcel of land is Lot 1 on above-mentioned plan, deposited in the said offices of the said Grey County Council.

Secondly, all that piece or parcel of land, containing 1 acre 1 rood 38·5 perches, being all that part of Section 34, Block VII, Mawheranui Survey District. Commencing at the most easterly corner of the parcel of land firstly in this Schedule mentioned; running thence at a bearing of 115° 07′ for a distance of 480·7 links; thence at a bearing of 177° 29′ for a distance of 700·1 links; thence at a bearing of 332° 43′ for a distance of 1016·5 links to the point of commencement: which said parcel of land is Lot 2 on above-mentioned plan, deposited in the said offices of the said Grey County Council.

Dated at Greymouth, this 3rd day of September, 1912.
