NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the shareholders of the Whakatane Dairy Company (Limited) held at Taneatua on Thursday, the 8th day of August, 1912, the following extraordinary resolution was passed :—
“That it is proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”
At the same meeting Mr. ERNEST CADNESS, of Whakatane, Company Secretary, was appointed Liquidator.

APPLICATION FOR LICENSE FOR A WATER-RACE.
UNDER THE MINING ACT, 1908.
To the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Roxburgh.
PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned, William Braithwaite Rogers, of Teviot District, Sheep-farmer, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Date and number of miner’s right: 20th June, 1912; No. 92223.
Address for service: Care Jabez Burton, Mining Agent, Roxburgh.
Dated at Roxburgh, this 12th day of August, 1912.
Schedule.
Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Block I, Teviot Survey District—commencing at a point in Butcher’s Creek at the east end of Section 3 and terminating at the south end of Mrs. Rogers’s area held under occupation license, about 8 chains distant from the Clutha River.
Pegs marked: =
Length and intended course of race: 75 chains south, through Section 3; thence south-west, through Sections 17 and 18, same block; thence south, through part of area held by Mrs. Rogers under occupation license.
Points of intake: One at head.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Already constructed.
Mean depth and breadth: Depth, 1 ft.; breadth, 4 ft.
Number of heads to be diverted: Four.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Irrigation.
Proposed term of license: Forty-two years.

HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL.
IN accordance with the requirements of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, the Heathcote County Council hereby notifies that the following regulation was passed at a meeting of the Council held on the 13th day of August, 1912:—
“That part of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, be brought into operation in the Heathcote County as from the 16th September next.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between the undersigned MARK MOORE KILROY and ROBERT DUNNET SUTHERLAND, as Drapers, at Nos. 192 to 200 Princes Street, Dunedin, under the style of “Kilroy and Sutherland,” has been this day dissolved by mutual consent.
All outstanding debts should be paid to the said MARK MOORE KILROY, by whom the business will be carried on under the same style as before, and who will discharge all the liabilities of the former partnership.

Aburn and Sons,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the twenty-second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
The said business will henceforth be carried on at the said address under the said style or firm of “Sam. Aburn and Sons” by the said WILLIAM HENRY ABURN alone, who will pay and discharge all the debts and liabilities of the said late firm and receive all moneys due thereto.
