Bounded towards the north-west by Section 1, Block IV, Takapau Survey District, a distance of 391·7 links, and by Section 15, Block I, Motuataria Survey District, a distance of 108·3 links; towards the north-east by Section 15, Block I, Motuataria Survey District, a distance of 250 links to a road, and again on the other side of the road in the same line, a distance of 250 links; towards the south-east by said Section 15, Block I, Takapau Survey District, a distance of 351·2 links, and by Section 1, Block IV, Takapau Survey District, a distance of 148·8 links; and towards the south-west by Section 1, Block IV, Takapau Survey District, a distance of 250 links to road, and again on the other side of road in the same line a distance of 250 links: save and except a public road 100 links wide which bisects the above-described area: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/704C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section 7, Block IV, Takapau Survey District (Hatuma Settlement). Bounded towards the north-west by Section 3, Block IV, Takapau Survey District, a distance of 500 links; towards the north-east by said Section 3, a distance of 740·2 links; and towards the south-east and south-west by Makotukutuku Road, a distance of 995·5 links, to the starting-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/704D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 34 perches, more or less, being Section 10, Block VIII, Takapau Survey District (Hatuma Settlement). Bounded towards the north-west by the Maharaeke Stream; towards the north-east by Section 9, Block VIII, Takapau Survey District, and a road-line, a distance of 397·2 links; towards the south-east by a road-line, and other portion of Section 9 aforesaid, a distance of 287·8 links; and towards the south and west generally by the Maharaeke Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/704E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 30 perches, more or less, being Section 3, Block XII, Takapau Survey District (Hatuma Settlement). Bounded towards the north-east generally by the Purimu Stream; towards the south-east by Section 2, Block XII, Takapau Survey District, a distance of 151·8 links; towards the south-west by the Purimu Road, a distance of 365·2 links; and towards the north-west by Section 2, Block XII aforesaid, a distance of 48 links, to the Purimu Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/704F, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Land temporarily reserved for Reservoir Purposes in Block X, Hautapu Survey District, Wellington Land District.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for reservoir purposes.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 3 perches, more or less, being Section 57, Block X, Hautapu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the North Island Main Trunk Railway, 1859 links; towards the east and south-east generally by the Main Trunk Road, 463·6 links, 641·7 links, 84·5 links, 355 links, 239·5 links, 301·8 links, 354·8 links, and 153·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/646, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
