Land temporarily reserved as an Endowment for Primary Education in Block XI, Waiōeka Survey District, Auckland Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written as an endowment for primary education.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section 5, Block XI, Waiōeka Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east, south-east, and south-west by Section 3, Block XI, Waiōeka Survey District, 1100, 900, and 1100 links respectively; and towards the north-west by a public road along the Waiōeka River, 498·2 and 345·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. & S. 1912/730, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple. (Auckland Plan 14137, blue.)

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land temporarily reserved for Water-conservation Purposes in Block XIII, Waiawa Survey District, Auckland Land District.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 630 acres, more or less, being Section 12, Block XIII, Waiawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by Section 3, Block VIII, Opotiki Survey District, and Section 2, Block XIII, Waiawa Survey District, 424·1, 341·5, 260·5, 436·6, 736·6, 629·4, 268·5, 271·3, 370, 464·5, 521·6, 287·7, 201·6, 748·5, 227·2, 209·2, 125·9, 77·3, and 3527·4 links; towards the east by Section 2 aforesaid and by Section 3 of said Block XIII, 12281·9 links; towards the south by Section 8 of the last-mentioned block, 3183·6 links; towards the north-west by Allotment No. 369, Waiōeka Parish, 5792 links; and towards the south-west by Allotments 368, 343, and 342 of the aforesaid parish, 4947 and 4851·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/531, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Commencing at a point 1065646·7 links north and 707096 links west of Mount Eden. Bounded towards the south-west, north-west, and north-east by Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, bearing 333° 2′ 1756·9 links, 42° 8′ 432·9 links, 64° 11′ 623·9 links, 118° 17′ 346·8 links, and 163° 30′ 1759·6 links respectively; and towards the south-east by road to Houhoura, bearing 250° 20′ 913·9 links: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1416/24, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland Plan 16416, blue.)

Lands temporarily reserved for Gravel Purposes in Hatuma Settlement, Hawke’s Bay Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the Governor may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of land acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for gravel purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less, being Section 6, Block XIII, Waipukurau Survey District (Hatuma Settlement). Bounded towards the north-east by Section 5, Block XIII aforesaid, a distance of 1184·2 links; towards the south-east by the Maharaeke Road, a distance of 500 links; towards the south-west by Section 2, Block I, Motuotaria Survey District, a distance of 1192·1 links; and towards the north-west by the Maharaeke Stream to the starting-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/704A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 25 perches,
