SCHEDULE.
BOURNDALE SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,625 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Rural Sections 17886, 20870, 17885, 20746, 23271, and 24601, situate in Blocks I, II, V, VI, Waimate Survey District. Commencing at the north-east corner of Rural Section 23271; thence bounded towards the south-east by the Hook Road, 17319'4 links; thence towards the south-west by Rural Sections 18324 and 18326, 15850'6 links; thence towards the north by the Makikihi Road to the north-east corner of Rural Section 20870, 8352'2 links; thence towards the north-east and west by Rural Section 33029, 944'4 links and 629'6 links respectively; thence across the Makikihi Road; thence towards the south by that road, a distance of 721'7 links, to the south-east corner of Rural Section 25534; thence by the eastern boundary of the aforesaid section, a distance of 1245 links, to the Makikihi River; thence the north by that river to the north-west corner of Rural Section 25531: towards the east by that section to the Makikihi Road, 1375 links; thence across that road to its southern boundary; thence by that road, easterly 3631'6 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19433, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ESTABLISHMENT OF MORSE SIGNALLING AT LIGHTHOUSES AND SIGNAL-STATIONS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following lighthouses and signal-stations under the control of this Department have been equipped with flags and lamps for day and night signalling by the Morse code, and lightkeepers and signalmen at those places are now competent to receive and transmit messages. Those places marked thus (*) are connected with the telegraph system of the Dominion by telephone.

QUEENSLAND.
South Entrance to Fitzroy River.—Alteration of Sailing Directions.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in consequence of the shifting of the old Port Alma leading-marks from Eupatoria Point to Kazatch Point, the following amended directions for entering the Fitzroy River by the south channel will require to be adopted in place of those given on pages 116 and 117 of “Sailing Directions,” 1912 edition :—

By Day.—Eight lines down read, “Until two similar beacons on Kazatch Point, on Balaklava Island, are in line, keep them so, passing a black buoy (moored in 26 ft. on the extreme western edge of a rocky patch off Cardigan Point) on the port hand until two triangular beacons on Cardigan Point are brought nearly in line astern. Keep them so,” &c.

By Night.—Second line down read, “Follow the Kazatch Point lights until the line is intersected by Cardigan Point lights red and white,” &c.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested, I, the Minister of Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul the appointment of the undermentioned warehouse for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, namely,--
Port of Dunedin.
The warehouse known as
THE UNIVERSAL BONDED WAREHOUSE,
as appointed and described in Minister’s Order of the 30th day of March, 1867 (Gazette, page 159, 1867).

Approving and appointing a Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by the Customs Law Act, 1908, I, the Minister of Customs, do hereby approve and appoint the undermentioned warehouse to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond, namely,--
Port of Dunedin.
A brick building, with roof part slate, part iron, situate between Bond and Crawford Streets, to be known as the
UNIVERSAL BOND.
