PART I.

Description and Purpose of Original Reserve.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 19 perches, more or less, being Section 28, Block I, Waitahuna West Survey District.

Permanently reserved for a public hall by Warrant in Gazette No. 98, of the 31st December, 1891.

PART II.

Description of Portion of Reserve the Purpose of which it is intended to change.

All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being that part of Section 28, now known as Section 182, Block I, Waitahuna West Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 218·3 links; towards the south by a public road, 132 links; towards the south-west by part of Section 28 of aforesaid Block I, 181·7 links; and towards the north-west by other part of aforesaid Section 28, 125·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1911/807, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

PART III.

Intended Purpose.

Site for a public building, to be used for a library and other purposes, for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of Tuapeka Mouth and surrounding district.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land temporarily reserved for a Public Recreation-ground in Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, Auckland Land District.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written for a public recreation-ground.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 110 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section 3, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a public road, 575·1, 529·5, 272·5, 163·5, 254·6, 268·1, 550·9, 949·8, and 383 links; towards the north-east by a line bearing 154° 12′, 415·7 links; towards the south-east by lines bearing 226° 54′, 3046 links, and 250° 17′, 1128·7 links; towards the south-west by the main South Road 150 links wide, 843·3, 1001·3, and 1024·3 links; and towards the north-west by a line bearing 49° 19′, 2110·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages and bearings more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5439/22, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Trustee for the Otaio Public Cemetery appointed.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

THOMAS GALLETLY

to be a Trustee, in the place of William Traves, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Otaio Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Patrick Kennedy, David Stowell, William Kennedy, and George Lyall, previously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Postmaster appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.


PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

THOMAS GRAHAM BRYAN,

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Taitimu, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
