Schedule.

Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Wye Creek, Remarkables, Lake County—commencing in said Wye Creek, running thence nearly north for about two miles through Crown lands, and for about six miles through my freehold land in Block XII, Coneburn District, and terminating at my homestead at the Kawarau Falls, Lake County.

Length and intended course of race: About eight miles; northerly and north-west.

Point of intake: Wye Creek aforesaid.

Estimated time and cost of construction: Three years; about £7,000.

Mean depth and breadth: The water will be piped; size of pipes, 18 in. at intake, reducing to 12 in. at terminating point.

Number of heads to be diverted: Ten heads.

Purpose for which water is to be used: Irrigation, feeding and driving machinery, domestic use, watering stock, and supplying any tank, reservoir, or house with water.

Proposed term of license: Forty-two years.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between DONALD BUCHANAN and ARCHIBALD BRYCE GLEN, trading as “Buchanan and Glen,” Bakers and Pastrycooks, Hokitika, has been dissolved as from this date by the retirai of the said ARCHIBALD BRYCE GLEN.

Mr. BUCHANAN has assumed Mr. JOHN WATTERS as a partner, and the business will from this date be carried on by them under the style of “Buchanan and Watters,” to whom all debts owing to the late firm are payable and by whom the liabilities of the late firm will be discharged.

I, ALEXANDER WATT BEVERIDGE, Nelson, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Chirurgery, University of Edinburgh, Fellow (by examination) of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, do hereby give notice that I intend to apply on the 9th day of September, 1912, to be registered as a medical practitioner under the Medical Act, 1908; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualifications for public inspection in the office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths at Nelson.
