NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company held at Eltham on the 22nd day of June, 1912, the following special resolutions were passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company held at Eltham on the 13th day of July, 1912, the said resolutions were duly confirmed, viz. :

  1. That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.
  2. That Messrs. JAMES PHILLIPS and W. J. TRISTRAM be appointed Liquidators for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company.

All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by JOSEPH PHILLIPS and CHARLES SMITH, who will continue to carry on the said business in Partnership under the style or firm of “Phillips and Smith.”

HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Public Works Act, 1908, notice is hereby given that it is proposed to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a certain public work, to wit, a public road; and that a plan of the land so proposed to be taken has been prepared, and is now lying open to public inspection during office hours at the offices of the Hawke’s Bay County Council, in Browning Street, Napier; and all persons affected by the taking of such land or the construction of such work are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections thereto, and, within forty days from the date hereof, to send the same addressed to the Clerk of the said Council at the offices aforesaid.

Schedule.

All that parcel of land situate in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, containing one rood thirty-two perches and two-tenths of a perch, being part of Suburban Section 229, as shown on the Government plan of Clive.
