section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,340, authorized to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council, under warrant dated the 25th day of March, 1912, from the Minister of Public Health, for the purpose of extending the drainage system of the Borough of Feilding, the Feilding Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 17/128 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIAPU COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notice of Result of Poll on a Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the County of Waipu taken on the 17th day of July, 1912, on a proposal to borrow the sum of £16,800 for the purpose of forming and metalling the road between Tokomaru and the Pahii, via Takapau, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 45, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 2.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notice of Result of Poll on a Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the County of Waipu taken on the 17th day of July, 1912, on a proposal to borrow the sum of £5,000 for the purpose of constructing a dray-road between Te Araroa and Whangaparaoa, via Hick’s Bay, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 45, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 2.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Result of Poll for Proposed Loans.

HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Cashmere Riding of the County of Heathcote taken on the 1st day of August, 1912, on the proposal of the Heathcote County Council to borrow the sums of £11,714 and £7,423 for water and sewage and roading scheme respectively, the number of votes recorded for the sewage and water proposal was 97, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 16. The number of votes recorded for the roading scheme was 103, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 19.
I therefore declare the sewage and water proposal and the roading proposal was carried.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1908, and its amendments, I hereby notify that the undermentioned Crown land, being the land known as the Avenel Extension Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Acts, is subject to the said Acts, as from 1st June and 14th July respectively.
SCHEDULE.
AVENEL EXTENSION SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,327 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Sections 27304, 27688, 28045, 28044, situate in Blocks VII and VIII, Corwar Survey District, and Blocks II and III, Ashburton Survey District, being all the land shown in certificates of title, Vol. 83/249, 83/250, 83/251, 84/252, District Land Registry Office, Christchurch: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19428, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 521 acres, more or less, being Rural Section 25364, situate in Blocks VIII and IX, Corwar Survey District, and being all the land shown in certificate of title, Vol. 109, folio 173, District Land Registry Office, Christchurch; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19428, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
