ments, the Pahiatua County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of a loan of £95, and the interest thereon, by the periodical payments as required by the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and the charges and expenses incident thereto or connected therewith, which loan was duly authorized to be raised under the said Acts for the purpose of erecting a traffic-bridge over the Otangae Stream (in conjunction with a Government subsidy and a loan raised by the Eketahuna County Council), the Pahiatua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of the rateable property within the Otangae Bridge Special-rating Area—viz., Sections part 8, part 9, part 11, part 13, and part 21, all in Block XIII, Mangahoa Survey District; such rate to be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, at 3¾ per cent. per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Pahiatua County Council held on Saturday, 8th June, 1912.

MURCHISON COUNTY COUNCIL.

Extracts from the Minutes of Proceedings at a Meeting held on the 29th Day of June, 1912, at 1.15 p.m.

MOVED by Councillor Win.—In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Counties Act, 1908, and in particular the powers given by section 13 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, the Murchison County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, specially authorized to be raised by the provisions of section 13 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, by the Murchison County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the following purposes—viz., for payment of the amount agreed, pursuant to section 15 of the Counties Act, 1908, to be paid by the said Murchison County Council to the Inangahua County Council on the constitution of the Murchison County Council under the provisions of the Murchison County Act, 1908—the said Murchison County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of the whole rateable property of the Murchison County Council (on the basis of the unimproved value), the boundaries whereof are more particularly described in the First Schedule of the said Murchison County Act, 1908; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of July and the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.—Seconded by Councillor Page, and carried.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Murchison was hereto affixed, at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Murchison County Council, in the presence of—

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Te Tuhi Special-rating District.—Resolution making Special Rate.

THAT, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,700, authorized to be raised by the Waitotara County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for providing half-cost of the formation of four miles of the Raorikia Road, the said Waitotara County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 9/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Tuhi Special-rating District, containing Section 2, Block 2, Waipakura; Section 21, Block V, Waipakura; Lots 1 and 2 of Grazing-run 31; Runs 1 and 2, Paetawa North; part of Paetawa Block (265 acres); Sections 19 and 20, Block IX, Waipakura Survey District; part of Raorikia Native Reserve A; Ikuwara Native Reserve; and Section 23, Block X, Waipakura Survey District; Puketarata No. 1; Sections 1 to 7, Parikino Block; Te Tuhi 4c No. 2; Ahuahu E; Ramahiku No. 1b; Puketarata Nos. 2 and 3; Section 1, Block 16, Momohaki; Sections 1 and 2, Block I, Waipakura; Section 2, Block XII, Momohaki; Section 4, Block XIII, Taukira; Puketarata 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 4E, 4F, 4G, 4H; Raorikia Run (Section 24): and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a correct copy of the resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Waitotara County Council held on 6th August, 1912.

THE following resolution, made by the Pukekohe Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,250 (being a contingency loan of 10 per cent. on a loan of £12,500), authorized to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for installation of water-supply and road-formation, the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/12 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Pukekohe Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council held on Wednesday, 7th August, 1912.
