Fixing Fees for the Examination of Plans and Specifications of New Ships.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 51 of the Shipping and Seamen Amendment Act, 1909, I, Francis Marion Bates Fisher, Minister of Marine, do hereby direct that the fees set forth in the Schedule hereto shall be payable for the examination of plans and specifications of a ship under the said section.

PORT OF HOBART IMPROVEMENTS.
Notice is hereby given that two green lights, placed 6 ft. apart vertically, have been erected at the end of the pier now being constructed in continuation of Hunter Street, at the northern side of Sullivan Cove. The lights will be moved out as the construction of the pier progresses, and will remain the permanent pier-end lights when the work is completed.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block VI, Waihou Survey District, for Road Purposes.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road in Block VI, Waihou Survey District, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Hikutaiā, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of such public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.
