Resolution made by the Manai'a Town Board.

THE following resolution, made by the Manai'a Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

MANAI'A TOWN BOARD.
Resolution passed at the Board Meeting held on the 4th July, 1912.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies' Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Manai'a Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £200, authorized to be raised by the Manai'a Town Board, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of completing the remetalling of the main South Road within the Manai'a Town District, the Manai'a Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Manai'a Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Resolution made by the Tauhei Drainage Board.

THE following resolution, made by the Tauhei Drainage Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

TAUHEI DRAINAGE BOARD.
THE following special resolution was passed by the Tauhei Drainage Board on the 13th June, 1912:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £425, authorized to be raised by the Tauhei Drainage Board, under the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of draining No. 1 Special-rating Area, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said No. 1 Special-rating Area; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Resolution made by the Council of the County of Waipa.

THE following resolution, made by the Waipa County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies' Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Waipa County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by the said Waipa County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing the amount necessary to enable the said Waipa County Council to comply with an order of the Governor under section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, by a Warrant dated the 5th day of June, 1911, whereby it was declared that the said Waipa County Council should pay 50 per centum of the cost of the Waipa Bridge at Pirongia, after deducting such contributions as may be made to such cost by the Government of New Zealand, the said Waipa County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/107 of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Waipa; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OTATAU TOWN DISTRICT.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise Loan pursuant to Section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and Amendments thereof.
I HEREBY give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Otatau Town District taken on Saturday, 13th July, 1912, on the proposal of the Otatau Town Board to borrow the sum of £4,000 sterling for the following purposes—bringing into the Otatau Town District a high-pressure water-supply as per the proposal published in the Otatau Standard of 11th, 18th, 25th June, and 2nd July, 1912—the number of valid votes recorded for the proposal was 52; the number of valid votes recorded against the proposal was 27; the total number of valid votes recorded was 79; informal votes, 2.
I hereby declare the proposal to be carried.
