Special Order made by the Council of the County of Taranaki.

THE following resolution, made by the Taranaki County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments.

COUNTY OF TARANAKI.
Resolution making and levying Special Rate to secure Special Loan of £60.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the amendments thereto, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £60, being 10 per cent. on the original loan of £600, authorized to be raised by the Oakura Road Board (the Road District now being merged into the County of Taranaki, New Zealand Gazette, 1912, page 834), under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, for the purposes of completing the bridge over the Kiri River, and constructing the approaches thereto, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅜d. in the pound calculated upon the capital value of all rateable property of the Kiri Road Special-rating District, comprising Lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and Part 170 of Section 170, Block 1 of Egmont Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Resolution made by the Council of the Borough of Patea.

THE following resolution, made by the Patea Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

PATEA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Patea Borough Council held on Monday, 8th July, 1912, the following resolution was confirmed: That it be a special order that for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Patea Borough Council, under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of erecting a town hall and municipal buildings, and furnishing the same, the said Patea Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 6d. in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Patea, comprising the whole of the said borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of May and the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Resolution made by the Council of the Borough of Inglewood.

THE following resolution, made by the Inglewood Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

INGLEWOOD BOROUGH COUNCIL.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Inglewood Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges, including sinking fund, on a loan of £8,500, authorized to be raised by the Inglewood Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, for the purpose of acquiring the undertaking of the Inglewood Electric Light and Power Company (Limited), and its lands, water rights, easements, and appurtenances, and buildings, engines, machinery, poles, lines, and other things, and any other purpose incidental to or in relation to any of the above purposes, the Inglewood Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 15/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Inglewood, comprising the whole of the Borough of Inglewood; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Inglewood Borough Council held on the 11th day of July, 1912.

Resolution made by the Parihaka Road Board.

THE following resolution, made by the Parihaka Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

PARIHAKA ROAD DISTRICT.
Puniho Road No. 3 Joint Loan.—Resolution making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Parihaka Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of the principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £650, authorized to be raised by the Parihaka Road Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for forming, culverting, and metalling about 150 chains of the Puniho Road, the said Parihaka Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Puniho Road No. 3 Loan Special-rating Area, comprising Sections 9 and 10 of 7, Block V; 6 of 7 and 2 of 35, Block IX; 7 of 7, Block V; 1 of 35, Block IX; 36, 37, 1, 2, 3 of 30, Block IX; 16 of 3, 15 of 3, 14 of 3, Block X; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 of 7, Block V; all Cape Survey District, being part of the Warea Ward of the Parihaka Road District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
