Notice of Intention to take Land in Poolburn and Tiger Hill Survey Districts for a Public Work.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1910, to take for a public work the land described in the Schedule hereto, with respect to which land neither the owners nor the occupiers are willing to enter into contracts to take water from the Ida Valley Irrigation-works, authorized to be constructed, maintained, and controlled by an Order in Council dated the 26th day of May, 1912, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 29th day of the same month. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Poolburn, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking thereof, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of a Road in Blocks XII, Orahiri, and IX, Mangaorongo Survey Districts.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under the authority of section 93 of the Public Works Act, 1908, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, on the 10th day of February, 1910, taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrant dated the 6th day of December, 1909.
