Stopping a Government Road in Block IX, Mimi Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purposes of a road:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road in Mimi Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land taken for Excavation and Reclamation Works in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of excavation and reclamation works in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District:
And whereas the Auckland Harbour Board has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Harbours Act, 1908, the Auckland Harbour Board Empowering Act, 1911, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said excavation and reclamation works, and shall vest in the Auckland Harbour Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Rifle Range in Block XII, Linkwater Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by subsection two of section ninety of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that where it is necessary to take any Native land, or land owned by Natives under title derived from the Crown, for defence purposes, such land may be taken in the manner prescribed by Part IX of that Act:
And whereas section two hundred and twenty-five of the Public Works Act, 1908, enacts that the land required for rifle ranges may be taken as for a public work, and in the manner prescribed in that part for taking land for defence purposes:
And whereas by section eighty-eight of the Defence Act, 1909, it is enacted that the Governor may take land for rifle ranges:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is land owned by Natives under title derived from the Crown, and is required to be taken for the purpose of a rifle range in Block XII, Linkwater Survey District:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Defence Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a rifle range, and shall vest in His Majesty the King on and after the thirteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
