Pastoral Runs in Auckland Land District liable to Forfeiture.

Auckland, 20th January, 1912.
PURSUANT to section 251 of the Land Act, 1908, notice is hereby given that the licenses of the pastoral runs mentioned in the Schedule hereto are liable to forfeiture, and that if the rent overdue thereon, together with the full amount of the penalty for non-payment at due date, be not paid within three months from the date hereof, the licenses will be declared forfeited.

Small Grazing-runs in Otago Land District for Lease on Application.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned small grazing-runs are open for lease for a term of twenty-one years, with right of renewal, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908; and applications will be received at this office and the Athenaeum Hall, Cromwell, on Monday, the 26th day of February, 1912, up to 4 o’clock p.m.

DESCRIPTIONS OF RUNS.
Run 511.—Warm hillside pastoral land on slopes of Criffel Range, at altitude of 1,200 ft. to 4,400 ft., with fair tussock pasture, though rather bare, on lower portion, which is also rather dry. The Cardrona River, however, runs along the frontage. Distant by Cardrona-Pembroke coach-road eight miles from latter place, where there is post and telegraph office and school. The improvements consist of 34 chains of fencing, valued for removal at 3s. per chain.
Run 512.—Part terrace land, cultivable, and part warm hillside pastoral land, with fair tussock and fern in places; fairly watered. Altitude, 1,100 ft. to 4,200 ft. Distant two or three miles from Pembroke. The improvements consist of stone yards and 253 chains of fencing.
Run 513.—Terrace land of fair quality, a good portion of which may be cultivated; rather dry, but with frontage to Clutha River. Distant about five miles by coach-road from Pembroke, and about three miles from Newcastle, where there is a small school. The improvements consist of fencing, the total estimated length of which is 444 chains. When the actual length is ascertained the amount of valuation on this run may be altered.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned pastoral runs will be offered for license by public auction at the District Lands Office, Dunedin, at 11 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, the 29th day of February, 1912, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

Run 254b, Maniototo County (Class B): Area, 6,487 acres; term, eight years; upset annual rental, £120. National endowment land.
Run 245e, Vincent County (Class A): Area, 2,230 acres; term, ten years; upset annual rental, £3.
Sections 1 to 4, Block III, Table Hill District, Bruce County (Class B): Area, 255 acres 1 rood 31 perches; term, twenty-one years; upset annual rental, £5.
Sections 1, 18, 19, and 26, Block IV, Crookston District, Tuapeka County (Class B): Area, 212 acres 2 roods 17 perches; term, fourteen years; upset annual rental, £5.
Possession of above runs will be given on 1st March, 1912.

Runs 464 and 11A (grouped), Waitaki County (Class A): Area, 8,530 acres; term, twenty-one years; upset annual rental, £160.
Run 217b, Waitaki County (Class A): Area, 12,625 acres; term, fourteen years; upset annual rental, £180.
Run 328A, Southland County (Class A): Area, 4,240 acres; term, twenty-one years; upset annual rental, £65.

Possession of Runs 24A, 464 and 11A, 217b, 328A, 510, 346b and 346c, 514, and Sections 76 and 77, Block IV, Table Hill District, will be given on 1st March, 1913.
Descriptions of Runs.
Run 202A.—Known locally as Leithen Hill Run. Distant fifteen miles from Kelso and eight miles from Waikaka. Open pastoral country, carrying tussock and native grass; not suitable for cultivation. The improvements consist of 60 chains of fencing, valued at 8s. per chain.
Run 11.—Situated on the eastern slopes of the Kakanui Range, about five or six miles from the Town of Hampden. The country consists of broken spurs and deep gullies. The vegetation is snow-grass on the higher elevations, and fine feed on the lower levels. A portion is covered with scrub. The improvements, which are valued at £298 7s., consist of hut, yards, and 740 chains of boundary and subdivisional fencing.
Run 254b.—Situated about nine miles from Paerau Post-office and about twenty miles from Patearoa School. A good run, well watered, covered with good native tussock and other native grasses; general aspect is westerly.
Run 245e.—Situated between the Town of Cromwell and Lowburn Ferry Post-office, about fourteen miles from Clyde Railway-station. Chiefly dry terrace land, with light shingly soil.
Sections 1 to 4, Block III, Table Hill District.—Situated within half a mile of Mount Stuart Railway-station. A
