Land temporarily reserved as a Site for a Public Pound in Block XV, Aria Survey District, Taranaki Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Taranaki Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as a site for a public pound.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section 34, Block XV, Aria Survey District (Suburbs of Matiere). Bounded towards the north-east by Section 35, Block XV, Aria Survey District, 363-83 links; towards the south-west by Riro Terrace, 398 links; and towards the north-west by Kuku Street, 285-27 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1912/367, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land temporarily reserved as an Endowment for Primary Education in Waro Survey District, Taranaki Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Bounded towards the north-east by Section 14, Block XIII, Waro Survey District, 149-6 links; towards the east by Section 4, Block XIII aforesaid, 223-7 links; towards the south-east by the said Section 4, 946-9 links; towards the south by the Tooi Road, 52-2 links; and towards the west, north-west, south-west, and again towards the north-west by Section 14 aforesaid, 1420-9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1752, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Commencing at a point on the western side of the Mokai Horse Track, 2491-9 links, in a south-easterly direction from traverse peg marked xxxii; thence towards the north-east by the Mokai Horse Track, 1000 links; and towards the south-east, south-west, and north-west by Section No. 2, Block II, Ruahine Survey District, 800 links, 1000 links, and 800 links respectively, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1912/432, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
