Pursuant to the Fire Brigades Act, 1908, and the rules made thereunder, I, George Warren Russell, Minister of Internal Affairs, being the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act, do hereby appoint Saturday, the 25th day of May, 1912, to be the day for holding an election of one member of the Masterton Fire Board by the insurance companies concerned, such election being held to fill the extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation of Richard Middleton Simpson as a member of the said Fire Board.
