Authorizing the Laying-off of a Road in the Bay Town District of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this first day of May, 1912.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE T. MACKENZIE, F.R.G.S., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and seventy-eight of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that where the configuration of any borough is such as that within any particular area or areas thereof it is difficult or inexpedient to construct streets of a width of sixty-six feet as required by the said Act, the Governor may, by Order in Council defining the limits of such particular area or areas, authorize the Council to permit within such area or areas the construction of streets and private streets of a width of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet:
And whereas the configuration of part of the Bay Town District is such that within the area described in the Schedule hereto it is inexpedient to construct a street of sixty-six feet in width:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Town Boards Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Bay Town Board to permit the laying-off of a street of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet, within the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area situated in the Bay Town District, being part of Section 1, Block II, and part of Section 9, Block III, Section 128R, and part Section 674R, Andersonโs Bay District; as the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 31621, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon bordered red.

Declaring Road in Blocks III and IV, Maungaru Survey District, Hobson County, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this first day of May, 1912.

THE HONOURABLE T. MACKENZIE, F.R.G.S., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

Transferring Charleston Hospital to Buller Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this first day of May, 1912.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE T. MACKENZIE, F.R.G.S., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, it is enacted that the trustees of a separate institution may at any time after the commencement of that Act, by resolution approved by a general meeting of the contributors, decide to transfer the institution to the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board of the hospital district within which the institution is situated; and that the Governor may thereupon, if he thinks fit, declare by Order in Council that the institution is transferred to that Board accordingly:
And whereas the trustees of the Charleston Hospital, by resolution approved by a general meeting of contributors thereto held on Wednesday, the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and ten, decided to transfer the Charleston Hospital to the Buller Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, and it is expedient to give effect to that resolution:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, doth hereby declare that the Charleston Hospital is transferred to the Buller Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.
