NOTICE is hereby given that a special resolution of Missouri Mines (Limited), a company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, requiring the said company to be wound up voluntarily, was duly passed on the 5th day of April, 1912, and duly confirmed on the 22nd day of April, 1912.

KING GEORGE THEATRE COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of the above-named company duly convened for such purpose, and held at the office of the company, Durham Street, Auckland, on Saturday, 27th April, 1912, at 10 a.m., the following extraordinary resolution was passed, viz. :—

“That it is proved to the satisfaction of this meeting of shareholders that this company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, carry on business, therefore the company be wound up voluntarily.” And

“That Mr. C. FRANKLIN SANDERS be appointed Liquidator for such purpose.”

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908; and also of the taking, under the said Act, by the Gisborne Borough Council of certain land within the Borough of Gisborne, for the purpose of a septic tank and pumping-station in connection with the sanitary works of the Gisborne Borough.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Gisborne, for and on behalf of the Gisborne Borough Council, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, intend to take by Proclamation the following land, viz. :—

All that piece or parcel of land situate in the Borough of Gisborne, containing by admeasurement thirty-six (36) perches, being Lot numbered one (1) of Section thirteen (13), a subdivision of Section 130, Block A, Whataupoko.

A plan of the land, by direction of the Gisborne Borough Council, is deposited at the office of the Gisborne Borough Council, Read’s Quay, Childers Road, Gisborne, where the same may be inspected at all reasonable hours.

The work proposed to be executed upon the said land is the erection of a septic tank and pumping-station in connection with the Gisborne Borough sanitary works, and the description of the land is as shown on the said plan.

All persons having any objections to the execution of such works, or to the taking of such land, are hereby required to send such objections in writing to the Borough Council on or before the 15th day of June, 1912.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between GEORGE DANIEL CROWE and WILLIAM GRIFFITHS, trading as Aerated-water Manufacturers, at Christchurch, under the style of “Griffiths and Co.,” has been dissolved as from this date; and a fresh partnership has been entered into between the said WILLIAM GRIFFITHS and EDWIN SAMUEL RAINBOW, who will carry on the business as usual, and will receive and pay all moneys due to or by the late firm.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, SARAH LOVE PURVIS and MARGARET ELIZABETH PURVIS, in the business of Boardinghouse-keepers, carried on by us at 75 Stafford Street, Dunedin, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 26th day of April, 1912; and the business will henceforth be carried on by the said MARGARET ELIZABETH PURVIS alone, who will pay and discharge all debts and liabilities of the said Partnership, and receive all moneys payable thereto.

I, ERNEST GERARD, the Managing Director of the Guardian, Trust, and Executors Company of New Zealand (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare :—

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the capital of the company is £100,000, divided into 20,000 shares of £5 each.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 2,390.
  4. That calls to the amount of £2 per share have been made, under which the sum of £4,580 has been received.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates is £271 15s. 11d.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates is nil.
  7. That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates under administration is £271 15s. 11d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of January last were £558 18s.
  9. That the assets of the company on that day were £1,572 16s. 6d.
  10. That the first annual license was issued on the 10th day of March, 1911.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
