Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Pahekeheke Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kaikohe, on Thursday, the 23rd day of May, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions :—
“1. That the kahikatea, rimu, and matai timber on the said land be sold to the Union Box and Packing-case Company (Limited) at a royalty of 6d. per 100 sup. ft. Time for removal, ten years.
“2. That Subdivision B No. 2æ be leased to George Stewart, of New Plymouth, for a term of fifty years, at a rental of 1s. per acre per annum for the first sixteen years, 2s. per acre per annum for the next sixteen years, and 3s. per acre per annum for the remaining eighteen years. The lease not to affect the timber, which is to be cleared off by the owners within four years from the execution of the lease.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whakatere-Manawakaiia Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kaikohe, on Thursday, the 23rd day of May, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions :—
“1. That part of the said land, containing 2,928 acres, be sold to Thomas Forester Buddle for the sum of £1 5s. per acre; or, in the alternative, that the said portion of land be leased to the said applicant for a term of fifty years, at a rental of 1s. 3d. per acre per annum for the first twenty-five years, and 5 per centum on the then unimproved value for the remainder of the term.
“2. That part of the said land, containing 2,900 acres, be sold to Stanley George Chambers, of Auckland, for the sum of £1 5s. per acre; or, in the alternative, that it be leased to the said applicant as above.
“3. That part of the said land, containing 3,000 acres, be sold to Ivy Emmeline Cook for the sum of £1 5s. per acre; or, in the alternative, that it be leased to the said applicant as above.
“4. That part of the said land, containing 3,000 acres, be sold to William Henry Rowley, of Auckland, for the sum of £1 5s. per acre; or, in the alternative, that the said land be leased to the said applicant as above.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waima South D will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kaikohe, on Thursday, the 23rd day of May, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions :—
“1. That the said land be sold to Margaret Larner, wife of Victor John Larner, of Auckland, for the sum of £1 2s. per acre; or, in the alternative, that the said land be leased to the said applicant for a term of fifty years, at a rental of 5 per centum on the Government valuation for the first twenty-five years, and 5 per centum on the then unimproved value for the remaining twenty-five years, and a royalty of 6d. per 100 sup. ft. on all timber of a girth of 5 ft. and upwards.
“2. That the said land be sold to John Scott for the sum of £1 per acre; or, in the alternative, that the said land be leased to the said applicant for a term of fifty years, at a rental of 1s. per acre per annum for the first twenty-five years, and 5 per centum on the then unimproved value for the balance of the term, and a payment of a royalty of 6d. per 100 sup. ft. on all timber of a girth of 5 ft. and over.”
