THE following resolutions, made by the Marton Borough Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Resolution making Special Rate for Repayment of a Further Loan of £800.
Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Marton Borough Council held on the 29th day of April, 1912, the following resolution was passed :—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and Amendment Act, 1910, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a further loan of £800, being 10 per centum additional on the original loan of £8,000 raised by the Marton Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of installing a sewerage system for the Borough of Marton, including pipes, sewers, septic tanks, and purchase of land for outward sewer, the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all the rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Marton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off; the interest and repayment upon such further loan of £800 being together at the rate of £5 1s. per annum for each £100 of the loan.
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution adopted at a special meeting of the Marton Borough Council held on Monday, the 29th day of April, 1912.

Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Marton Borough Council held on the 29th day of April, 1912, the following resolution was passed :—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and Amendment Act, 1910, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a further loan of £1,700, being 10 per centum additional on the original loan of £17,000 raised by the Marton Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing and laying water-pipes, mains, services, filters, and concrete dam, and for the purchase of land for catchment-area for the purpose of a waterworks system, the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all the rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Marton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off; the interest and repayment upon such further loan of £1,700 being together at the rate of £5 1s. per annum for each £100 of the loan.
