Additional Land in Eltham taken for the Purposes of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway to take further land at Eltham, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of said railway:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

The parcel of land mentioned hereunder:—

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 19345, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Napier End).

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway from Napier to a point near the confluence of the Okatowai and Esk Rivers in Block III, Puketapu Survey District (hereinafter termed “the said railway”), is a railway the construction of which is authorized by the Railways Authorization Act, 1911: And whereas it has been determined to construct and maintain a portion of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-

ERRATUM.—In Schedule to Proclamation dated 25th November, 1911, taking additional land at Timaru for the purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 103, of 21st December, 1911, page 3747, for “Being portion of Rural Section 7555, situated in Block XI, Arowhenua,” read “Being Reserve 3876, situated in Block X, Arowhenua.”
