THE COMPANIES ACT, 1908.
T. H. CHAPMAN (LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, at Kihikihi, on the 6th day of January, 1912, the following extraordinary resolution was passed, viz. :-
That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that A. E. WARNOCK, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.
And the following extraordinary resolution, viz. :-
That the company consents to the Liquidator paying in full all claims in respect of goods supplied after the meeting of creditors held in Mr. Warnock’s office on 7th November, 1911, such being only necessary supplies made with the sole object of keeping the company’s business going pending result of Mr. Warnock’s investigations; also that the company consents to the Liquidator paying out of the assets the costs incurred by Messrs. Sargood, Son, and Ewen (Limited) in taking steps to protect the assets pending the winding-up.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at my office, Palmerston Street, Westport, on Wednesday, 8th February, 1912, at 3 p.m., for the purpose of considering an account showing the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and also to determine by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication, a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
