HAWKE'S BAY RIVERS BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required for the purposes of a certain public work, to wit, the construction of an overflow-channel from the Ngaruroro River to the sea; and that the Hawke's Bay Rivers Board propose to take the said lands for the said purposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amendments; and, further, that a plan of the lands proposed to be so taken has been deposited in the offices of the said Board in Herschell Street, Napier, and will there remain open to inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours during a period of forty days from this date, and all persons affected by the taking of the said lands or the construction of the said work are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections which they are able to prefer against the taking of the said lands or the execution of the said work, and to send such writing or writings to the said Board, within forty days from this date, being the date of the first publication of this notice.

THE MOTOR REGULATION ACT, 1908.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council has, by resolution passed on the 9th day of January, 1912, decided that Part II of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, be brought into force in the County of Waipa on and after the 6th day of February, 1912.

Dated at Ohaupo, this 9th day of January, 1912.
