NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, carrying on business as General Grocers and Ironmongers at Jervois Road, Ponsonby, Auckland, under the style or firm of “McMath and Stebbing,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of March, 1912.

All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by WILLIAM McMATH, who will continue to carry on the grocery business.

WESTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Westland County Council, on behalf of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Westland County, proposes to take, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto for the purpose of gravel reserves, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purpose of a road.

And further notice is hereby given that a survey has been made and a plan is prepared showing the lands required to be taken, together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands so far as they can be ascertained, and a copy of such plan is deposited in the office in Fitzherbert Street, Hokitika, of the said Westland County Council, and is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary hours—namely, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except on Saturdays, when such hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth, in writing, any well-grounded objections to such works or the taking of the said lands, and to send such writing, within 40 (forty) days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Westland County Council, addressed to the County Clerk, at the office of the said Council situated as aforesaid.

The First Schedule above referred to.

All those parcels of land, containing respectively 1 acre and 1 perch, 1 rood 24 perches, 1 rood 24 perches, 1 rood 24 perches, and 2 acres 1 rood 27 perches, situate in Block XIV, Mahinapua Survey District, in the Land District of Westland, being parts of Hokitika Harbour Board Endowment Reserve numbered 146, each coloured purple on the said plan marked A/12, and marked G.R. No. 1, G.R. No. 2, G.R. No. 3, G.R. No. 4, and G.R. No. 5 respectively on the said plan; as the same are more particularly delineated on the said plan marked and coloured as aforesaid.

The Second Schedule above referred to.

All that parcel of land, containing 12 acres 18 perches, more or less, situate in Block XIV, Mahinapua Survey District aforesaid, being part of Hokitika Harbour Board Endowment Reserve numbered 146 aforesaid, coloured green on the said plan marked A/12; as the said parcel of land is more particularly delineated on the said plan marked and coloured as before mentioned.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCKS IX, HARATAUNGA, AND II, III, AND IV, COROMANDEL SURVEY DISTRICTS, FOR ROAD PURPOSES.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Coromandel County Council, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work; to wit, the construction of a road in Block IX, Harataunga Survey District, and Blocks II, III, and IV, Coromandel Survey District, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Council Chambers of the said Council, Kapanga Road, Coromandel, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the said Council at Coromandel.
