SCHEDULE.

PART I.

Description and Purpose of Original Reserve.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 232, Town of Shannon.

Set apart as a site for a post and telegraph office by section 27 of the Reserves and other Lands Sale, Disposal, and Enabling and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1901.

PART II.

Description of Portion of Reserve the Purpose of which it is intended to change.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 30·3 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 232, Town of Shannon. Bounded towards the north-west by Plimmer Terrace, 75·76 links; towards the north-east by the other part of Section No. 232, 250 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 230, 75·76 links; and towards the south-west by Section No. 233, 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 52152/38, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

PART III.

Intended Purpose.

Site for a public library and reading-room.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land temporarily reserved for a Public Recreation-ground in Spotswood Village, Canterbury Land District.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a public recreation-ground.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 17 perches, more or less, situated in Block IV, Cheviot Survey District, being the whole Lots 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, and 62 of the Spotswood Village, and now designated Reserve 3851; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1189/19, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land temporarily reserved as a Site for a Public School in Block XVI, Norsewood Survey District (Raumati Settlement), Hawke’s Bay Land District.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the Governor may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of land acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as a site for a public school.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section 24, Block XVI, Norsewood Survey District (Raumati Settlement). Bounded towards the north by Section 15 of said block, a distance of 715·5 links; towards the east by said Section 15, a distance of 700 links; towards the south by the Maunga Road, a distance of 715·5 links; and towards the west by Section 14 of said block, a distance of 700 links, to the starting-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19375(4), deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Primary Education Endowment in Grahamtown Township, Auckland Land District, set apart as a Site for a Public School.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by section five of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1911, it is enacted that the Governor may, on the recommendation of the Land Board of the district in which are situated any reserves or endowments vested in the Crown by or in pursuance of section two of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1910, set apart as sites for public schools, secondary schools, or technical schools any part of such reserves or endowments:

And whereas the Land Board of the Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the primary education endowment described in the Schedule hereto should be set apart as a site for a public school, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby set apart the primary education endowment described in the Schedule hereto as a site for a public school.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, being Sections 270, 272, and 273 of Grahamtown Township. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road; towards the south-east and again towards the north-east by Section 271, Grahamtown Township; again towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west by Sections 269 and 267 of the aforesaid township; towards the north-west and again towards the south-west by Section 274 of the aforesaid township; and again towards the north-west by a public road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1816, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.
