Notice of Request to amend Specification.

Patent Office,
Wellington, 4th January, 1912.

REQUEST for leave to amend the undermentioned application for Letters Patent has been received and is open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time from one month from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing of opposition to the amendments. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.

The nature of the proposed amendments is as follows:—

On page 2,—
To insert, after the word “means,” line 2, the words “for use in combination with apparatus by which.”
To omit “whereby,” line 2; to insert “are” instead of “may be,” line 3; to insert “and” after “pasteurized,” line 3; and to omit the words “The invention also combines means,” line 4.
To omit the words “a pasteurizer” down to “auxiliary” inclusive, lines 10 to 16, and to insert “an” before “appliance,” line 16.
To omit “Fig. 1 is a sectional elevation of the pasteurizer appliance,” lines 23 and 24.
To insert “1” instead of “2,” line 25; “2” instead of “4,” line 29; and “1” instead of “2,” line 30.
To omit “Fig. 3 is a sectional plan of the pasteurizer taken on the lines 3-3 of Fig. 1,” lines 27 and 28.
To omit the words “In carrying out the invention” down to “is inserted” inclusive, lines 31 to 35.

On page 4,—
