Notice fixing Closing-hours of Milliners and Ladies’ Outfitters’ Shops in the Borough of Hastings under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the milliners and ladies’ outfitters’ shops in the Borough of Hastings, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows : Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 6 p.m. ; Wednesdays, 1 p.m. ; Saturdays, 9.30 p.m. : And whereas the Hastings Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the milliners and ladies’ outfitters’ shops within the Borough of Hastings :
Now, therefore, I, John Andrew Millar, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that, from and after the 1st day of April, 1912, all milliners and ladies’ outfitters’ shops in the Borough of Hastings shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XIV, Hawkins Survey District, for the Purposes of a Public Recreation-ground.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public recreation-ground. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Charing Cross and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of a Road in Block XIII, Mangaorongo Survey District, Waitomo County.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under the authority of section 93 of the Public Works Act, 1908, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrant dated the 6th day of December, 1909.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a Native School in Block XI, Tauranga Survey District, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Tauranga, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.
