Regulations for Deer-shooting, Rotorua and Whakatane.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
I N exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby make the following regulations prescribing the deer-shooting season in that part of the Rotorua Acclimatization District comprised in the Counties of Rotorua and Whakatane (excluding all land within five miles of the shores of Lake Okareka), and the conditions affecting the same, and also the form of license and the fee payable therefor.
REGULATIONS

RED-DEER stags may be taken or killed within the above-mentioned part of the Rotorua Acclimatization District from the 10th April, 1912, to the 30th April, 1912, both days inclusive.

Licenses to take or kill such deer may be issued by the Government Tourist Agent at Rotorua, on payment of a license fee of £3, in the form prescribed in the Schedule hereto, and subject to the said Act and these regulations. The number of such licenses shall not exceed six. Provided that not more than one such license shall be issued to the same person.

No licensee shall take or kill more than two stags, and no stag shall be killed carrying antlers with less than ten points.

No hind or fawn shall be taken or killed on any pretext whatever; and no licensee shall allow any dog to accompany either himself or any attendant he may have with him.

Lands set apart for a Municipal Endowment in the Manunui Town District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by section seventeen of the Land Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is provided that the reserves to be made by the Governor for any existing borough or town district under that section shall be made only in cases where reserves for the same purpose do not exist therein, or, if existing, do not equal or exceed the amount of reserves authorized to be made under section fifteen of the said Act:
And whereas no municipal reserves have been set apart in the Town of Manunui, and it is deemed expedient to make the reserves hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby declare that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby reserved as an endowment for the use of the Town Board of the Manunui Town District, as constituted by Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 56, of the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 41 perches, more or less, being Section No. 65, Town of Manunui. Bounded towards the north-west by Maukuroa Road; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 64, 63, and 62 of said town; towards the south-east by Section No. 19, Block II, Hunua Survey District; and towards the south-west by Section No. 66: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1798A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 97, Town of Manunui. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 81 of said town; towards the north-east by a public road; towards the south-east by Section No. 98; and towards the south-west by Section No. 109: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1798B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 8 perches, more or less, being Section No. 112, Town of Manunui. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 111 of said town; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 106, 107, and 108; towards the south-east by Maukuroa Road; and towards the south-west by Section No. 118: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1798C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 119, Town of Manunui. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 120 and 121 of said town; and towards the south-west and north-west by Section No. 78: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1798D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change, exchange, or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and in the case of any reserve made under the authority of section three hundred and twenty-one of the Land Act, 1908, if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to
