HUNTLY ROAD BOARD.
Copy of Resolution passed at a Meeting of the Huntly Road Board on 2nd March, 1912.
MR. BAILEY then moved that,—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and amendments thereof, the Huntly Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,080, authorized to be raised by the Huntly Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act and its amendments, for the purpose of further metalling the roads of the Matahuru Special-rating District, the said Huntly Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/32 of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Matahuru Special-rating District, comprising all that area of land in the Auckland Province within a boundary commencing at the south-west corner of Section 407, Parish of Whangamarino, and going northerly by the western boundary of Sections 407 and 406 to the north-west corner of 406; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Sections 406 and 489 to the north-west corner of 489; thence easterly in a straight line to the nearest point on the shore of Lake Waikare, and across Lake Waikare to the north-west corner of Section 212; thence easterly by the Huntly Road District boundary to the north-east corner of Section 454, Whangamarino Parish; thence southerly by the Huntly Road District boundary to the south-west corner of Section 465, Taupiri Parish; thence northerly along western boundary of Sections 465 and 187 to the north-west corner of Section 187; thence easterly, northerly, and westerly along the boundaries of Sections 186 and 185 to the north-west corner of Section 185; thence northerly along the western boundary of Section 465 to Section 181; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Section 181, and northerly along the eastern boundary of Sections 181 and 180, and westerly along the northern boundary of Section 180 to the north-west corner of Section 180; thence northerly along the western boundary of Sections 465 and 348 to Section 349; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Sections 349, 353, 354, and 355 to the southern corner of Section 355; thence across Section 463 to the south-eastern corner of Section 390; thence westerly along the south side of Sections 390, 391, 392, 393, 394, 395, and 396 to south-west corner of Section 396; thence northerly along western boundary of Sections 396, 492, and 389, Taupiri Parish, and 497, Whangamarino Parish, to Section 436A; thence westerly along southern boundary of Sections 406 and 407 to starting-point: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the said loan is paid off.—Seconded by Mr. McKinnon, and carried.

Maraetaha Bridge Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Maraetaha Bridge Special-rating District taken on the 20th day of February, 1912, on the proposal of the Cook County Council to borrow the sum of £1,500 for building the Maraetaha Bridge, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 9, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was nil.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notice of Result of Poll.
In the matter of the Town Boards Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same respectively.
I HEREBY give public notice that on Friday, the 8th day of March, 1912, a proposal was submitted by the Otane Town Board to the ratepayers of the Otane Town District for raising a special loan of £1,500 for the purpose of erecting Dreadnought Gasworks and lighting the Otane Town District; and that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows—for the proposal, 54; against the proposal, 24; majority for the proposal, 30; informal votes, 3.
I hereby declare the said proposal to be carried.

MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD BOARD.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Mount Roskill Road District was taken on the 6th day of March, 1912, on the proposal of the Mount Roskill Road Board to borrow the sum of £1,500 for the purpose of carrying out the works referred to in the Waikowhai Park Act, 1911, and the Schedule thereto.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 94. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 26. I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
