CERTIFICATE OF CONFIRMATION.
In pursuance of the By-laws Act, 1910, I hereby confirm the within written by-law entitled By-law No. 1, and declare that the same came into force on the 21st December, 1911.

Resolutions made by the Council of the County of Wairarapa South.

THE following resolutions, made by the Wairarapa South County Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

WAIRARAPA SOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 15 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Wairarapa South County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £150, authorized to be raised by the Wairarapa South County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the metalling of 48 chains of the Eiringa Road, the said Wairarapa South County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all property of the Eiringa Road Special-rating Area No. 2, as is more particularly defined in the Schedule hereunder written; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The Schedule hereinbefore referred to.
All those pieces of land comprising Section 5, Longbush Settlement, 391 acres 2 roods 16 perches, Section 6, Longbush Settlement, 792 acres 2 roods, Section 4, Longbush Settlement, 390 acres 3 roods, all in Block VIII, Huangarua Survey District, as such sections are more particularly delineated in the plan attached to the application for loan, and therein coloured red.
In witness whereof the common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wairarapa South was hereto affixed pursuant to a resolution of the Council passed at and recorded in the minutes of a meeting held at Carterton on the 24th day of February, 1912, by and in the presence of—

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 15 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Wairarapa South County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Wairarapa South County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the formation, metalling, and culverts on 142 chains of Tea Creek Road, the said Wairarapa South County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Tea Creek Special-rating Area, as is more particularly defined in the Schedule hereunder written; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Resolution made by the Council of the County of Otamatea:

THE following resolution, made by the Otamatea County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Resolution making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, and of all other powers it thereto enabling, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the ratepayers of the Paparoa Riding of the County of Otamatea, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of forming and metalling the main Matakohe-Paparoa Road in the Paparoa Riding, commencing at Hardie’s Bridge and terminating at the Pahi turn-off junction, the Otamatea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property lying within the said Riding of Paparoa of the County of Otamatea; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Otamatea County Council held on Monday, the 26th day of February, 1912, and the common seal of the Council was hereto affixed in the presence of—
