FIRST SCHEDULE.
Boundaries of the Borough of New Plymouth.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded towards the north-west by the sea from the western side of Cutfield Road to the westernmost corner of Section No. 97 (Fitzroy), Paritutu Survey District; thence by the said Section No. 97 to its easternmost corner; thence across a public road and by Section No. 17, Pukoweka Native Reserve, to Section No. 159 (Hua), Paritutu Survey District; thence towards the east generally by the last-mentioned section to the Waiwakaiho Stream; thence by that stream to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 88 (Fitzroy), Paritutu Survey District; thence towards the south-east generally by the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 88, 87, and Native Reserve No. 22 to the Henui Stream; thence by that stream to a point opposite the northern boundary of Section E, Town Belt; thence across the Henui Stream and by the said northern boundary of Section E, 458·5 links, to the north-eastern corner of Subdivision No. 1 of the said Section E; thence by the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Subdivision No. 1, 2713·6 links, to Eliot Street; thence by Eliot Street to the south-western corner of Allotment No. 1944, New Plymouth; thence across Eliot Street and by the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 1943, 1942, 1941, 1940, 1939, 1938, 1937, 1936, 1935, 1934, 1933, 1932, 1931, 1930, 1929, 1928, the abutment of Gover Street, the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 1274, 1273, 1272, 1271, 1270, 1269, 1268, 1267, 1266, and 1265, and the last-mentioned boundary-line produced to the south-western corner of Allotment No. 1252; thence by the western boundary of that allotment and its continuation across Shortland Street to the south-western corner of Allotment No. 1233; thence by the western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 1233, 1232, 1231, 1217, 1216, the abutment of Bell Street, the western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 1202, 1201, 1184, 1183, the abutment of Wakefield Street, the western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 1160, 1159, 1158, 1142, and 1141 to Davy Street; thence across Davy Street, and by its northern side and that side produced to the left bank of the Huatoki Stream; thence by the left bank of that stream to the south-eastern side of Wallace Place; thence by the south-eastern side of Wallace Place to and across Cutfield Road; and thence towards the south-west by the south-western side of Cutfield Road to the sea, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
Boundaries of Eastern Ward of Borough of New Plymouth.
All that area in the Borough of New Plymouth bounded towards the north-west by the sea from a point in line with the middle of Gover Street to the Henui Stream; thence towards the east generally by the Henui Stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary-line of Allotment No. 2308, New Plymouth; thence across the Henui Stream, by the north-western boundary of Allotment No. 2308 aforesaid, and that boundary produced to the eastern side of Baring Terrace; thence by the eastern side of Baring Terrace to Section K; thence by that section to the Henui Stream; thence across that stream and by its left bank to the northern boundary of Section E, Town Belt; thence towards the south-east generally by Section E aforesaid, 458·5 links, to the north-eastern corner of Subdivision No. 1 of the said Section E; thence by the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Subdivision No. 1, 2713·6 links, to Eliot Street; thence by Eliot Street to the south-western corner of Allotment No. 1944, New Plymouth; thence across Eliot Street and by the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 1943, 1942, 1941, 1940, 1939, 1938, 1937, 1936, 1935, 1934, 1933, 1932, 1931, 1930, 1929, 1928, the abutment of Gover Street, the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 1274, 1273, 1272, 1271, 1270, 1269, 1268, 1267, 1266, and 1265, and the last-mentioned boundary-line produced to the middle of Carrington Road; thence towards the west generally by a line along the middle of Carrington Road to Pendarves Street; thence by a line along the middle of Pendarves Street to Gover Street; thence by a line along the middle of Gover Street, and that line produced to the sea, the place of commencement.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
Boundaries of the Mangorei Road District.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded towards the north-west generally by the Borough of New Plymouth from a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section No. 35 (Fitzroy), Paritutu Survey District, to the Henui Stream; thence towards the east generally by that stream to the south-western boundary of the Puketotara Native Reserve; thence by the Waiwakaiho Stream to its confluence with the Mangorei Stream; thence by that stream to the southernmost corner of Section No. 134 (Omata), Egmont Survey District; thence towards the south-west by the south-western boundary-line of that section and south-western boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 135 and 128 to the Henui Stream; thence towards the north-west by that stream to the south-western corner of Section No. 76 (Grey), Paritutu Survey District; and thence by the south-western boundary-line of that section and the south-western boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 63, 49, and 35 (Fitzroy), Paritutu Survey District, and the production of the south-western boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to the boundary of the Borough of New Plymouth, the place of commencement.
FOURTH SCHEDULE.
Boundaries of the County of Taranaki.
Bounded towards the north-west by the sea from the northernmost corner of Section No. 26, Block IV, Cape Survey District, to the mouth of the Waitara River; thence towards the north-east generally by that river to the Borough of Waitara; thence by the Borough of Waitara and Clifton County, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 78, of the 5th October, 1911, to the confluence of the Makino Stream and the Waitara River; thence towards the south-east by Stratford County, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 34, of the 27th April, 1911, to the summit of Mount Egmont; and thence towards the south-west by Egmont County, as described in the Schedule to the Egmont County Act, 1901, to the place of commencement: excepting the Boroughs of New Plymouth and Inglewood and St. Aubyn Town District.

Date of Election to fill Extraordinary Vacancy in Hastings and Dannevirke Fire Boards by Insurance Companies.

PURSUANT to the Fire Brigades Act, 1908, and the rules made thereunder, I, David Buddo, Minister of Internal Affairs, being the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the 17th day of January, 1912, to be the day for holding an election of one member of the Hastings Fire Board and of the Dannevirke Fire Board by the insurance companies concerned, such election being held to fill the extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation of Herbert Marshall as a member of the said Fire Boards.

MANGERE ROAD DISTRICT.
Special Order under the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, and its Amendments.
That the body corporate of the Inhabitants of the Mangere Road District does hereby, as a special order, declare that all the plants mentioned in the Third Schedule to the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908 (as amended by the Noxious Weeds Amendment Act, 1910), be, as from the date of the confirmation of this resolution, noxious weeds within the jurisdiction of the said body corporate.
I. Matthew Bruce Kirkbride, of Mangere, in New Zealand, Farmer, Chairman of the Mangere Road Board, hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a special order duly made by resolution of the said body corporate, and passed and confirmed in strict compliance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.
